Dr. Alexander Ierokomos
Biography
A native of New York, Dr. Alexander Ierokomos
has been practicing in Longview since 1984
and is the founder of Lower Columbia Head
& Neck Associates. A graduate of the
prestigious Columbia University in New York,
he obtained his M.D. from the University
of Pennsylvania, the oldest Medical University
in the nation.
After completing a flexible internship
with an affiliate group of Stanford University
and a general surgical PGII at Kaiser Permanente
in Oakland, California, Dr. Ierokomos went
on to complete his Otolaryngology/Facial
Plastic Surgery Residency training from
the highly regarded University of Colorado.
Dr. Ierokomos has also completed additional
training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive
Surgery and Craniofacial & Maxillofacial
Surgery and is Board Certified in Facial
Plastic Surgery. He has also been a Clinical
Instructor for the Department of Otolaryngology
at Oregon Health & Sciences University.
He was also Chief of Surgery at St. Thomas
Hospital.
Dr. Ierokomos' desire to provide his patients
with state-of-the-art technology has led
him to open Lower Columbia Laser Surgery
Center and Lower Columbia Ambulatory Surgery
Center, a Medicare approved, Washington
State certified day surgical facility.
As well as the above, Lower Columbia Head
& Neck Associates also provides a full
range Hearing Services Division, staffed
by two Master's degree, licensed audiologists
and Environmental and Food Allergy testing
and treatment.
